Elizabeth Foxwell

Elizabeth Foxwell holds a BS in journalism from the University of Maryland-College Park and an MA in liberal studies from Georgetown University, where her thesis on women pacifists in World War II (including Dorothy Day) received distinction. She has served as managing editor for ten scholarly journals and currently is managing editor of Clues: A Journal of Detection (the only U.S. academic journal on mystery and detective fiction), editorial coordinator for the Journal of Baccalaureate Social Work, and editor of the McFarland Companions to Mystery Fiction series.

Preparations for the 2013 Conference are well underway. Those wishing to participate in the 93rd Annual Conference, held jointly with the AHA in New Orleans, should be aware that the deadline for submitting a paper proposal or complete panel proposals is April 20.
