2016 Distinguished Award recipients announced

The American Catholic Historical Association is proud to announce its Distinguished Award recipients for 2016.

The Distinguished Scholar award is presented to Professor Walter Melion Department of Art History, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.

The Distinguished Teaching recipient is the Rev. Clyde Crews, Bellarmine University, Louisville, Kentucky.

And the Trappist monks of the Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Monastery, Conyers, Georgia are awarded with the Distinguished Service to Catholic Studies award.

Our Distinguished recipients will be honored during the annual Presidential Luncheon to be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR), located in downtown Atlanta. The luncheon begins at 12 noon and is being catered by Wolfgang Puck.
